Apostle Aaron Bryan Claxton, Senior Pastor of the New Creation Christian Church is the eldest son of six children born to Chief-Apostle Aaron B. Claxton and Dr. Deborah J. Claxton. “Apostle Bryan”, as the congregation affectionately calls him, was raised in Baltimore, Maryland and is a product of the City public school system. He and his lovely wife, Pastor Sheila, are the proud parents of two daughters Erryn Corryn and Erica Christin, one son (in-law), Marques Durant, and two granddaughters, Sydney MacKenzie and Kendyl Anaya.

At the young age of 12, Apostle Bryan Claxton received a Prophetic word that he would preach the gospel of Jesus Christ to his generation. In August of 1977, the Lord reminded him of that prophecy in a Sunday night evangelistic service. After heeding a personalized alter call for salvation, given by his father and also Pastor, a life-changing personal experience with Jesus Christ put Apostle Bryan Claxton’s destiny on the right track.

Having been in church all his life, young Bryan Claxton got involved in the ministry of helps, serving in such capacities as usher, Sunday School teacher, van driver, janitor, activities coordinator, prayer counselor, all choirs and youth president. In September of 1983, Minister Bryan Claxton was ordained to the position of Elder, during the same service in which his father Pastor Aaron B. Claxton was ordained to the office of Apostle. Since that time Bishop A. Bryan Claxton has traveled throughout the United States ministering the Word of God in such cities as Montgomery, Ala., Youngstown, Ohio, Detroit, Mich., Philadelphia, Penn., Bristol, Tenn., Jamaica, West Indies, throughout Maryland and in many churches around Baltimore City. 

In October of 1991 Elder A. Bryan Claxton was installed as the Senior Pastor of the New Creation Christian Church. Bishop A. Bryan Claxton also serves as President of End-Time Ministries of Christ, International. In October 2002, Pastor A. Bryan Claxton was elevated and ordained as Bishop of the New Creation Christian Church. Pastor Claxton received his Bachelor of Theology and Masters of Divinity degrees from Family Bible College and Seminary. He also received his Doctorate of Ministry Degree from Bible College and Seminary in May 2003. The “Vision of the Church” continues to unfold as Bishop Bryan Claxton has determined to lead the “Joshua Generation” to possess all that God has promised to this generation and our forefathers.

Prophetess Sheila M. Claxton is the eldest of four daughters. She began to worship at the then Church of the Risen Saviour where the highly esteemed Pastors were Aaron B. and Deborah J. Claxton. Led there by the Holy Spirit and her mom, Mrs. Doris Kirkwood who would enforce the Sunday morning family worship day, caused Sheila to be found a “good thing” to the Pastor’s eldest son, A. Bryan Claxton. They were married on May 2, 1981 and are the proud parents of two beautiful girls, Erryn Corynn and Erica Christin.

In the ministry of helps, Pastor Sheila has served as youth Sunday School Teacher/advisor, assistant church treasurer, van driver, women’s ministry staff coordinator, food co-op coordinator, youth president / treasurer, usher, intercessor, sang on various choirs, counselor, nursery staff, day care/Pastor’s secretary, church administrator but above all serves humbly as servant of the most high God.

Prophetess Sheila has received a Bachelors Degree in Christian Ministry (B.C.M.) from the Chesapeake Bible College and a Masters of Divinity (M. Div.) from the Family Bible College and Seminary. The Lord has dealt with her In dreams, visions and images for the upbuilding of the body of Christ and specifically members of the New Creation Christian Church.
